Phew. I always just see 'Melbourne' written when first quickly reading something in anticipation and was relieved to read it properly in full here. North would be a good fit for him.

We have our good small HB ball users already in Salem and Bowey. In terms of playing him as HF I way prefer Spargo coming back from injury in this position.

Norf is the go to team to drum up your price before you land on your preferred destination

I'm just glad it's no longer us

What a RELIEF it’s not us !!! He’s now too slow and on the decline. The bulldogs will be happy to OFFLOAD him and the contract $$$ (just like they did with Hunter).

Sounds fair to me.

Could be a late mover.

Can't help thinking that we will also be facing the Caleb dilemna with Charlie Spargo this time next year

If we got pick 26 for Spargo next year, then Tim Lamb is a genius. A DFA is more likely.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
