    The umpiring standard in this game is ridiculously bad. No mark given when it was a clear mark and then a holding free given the wrong way. The commentators were shocked at how bad that was.

Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
