Verrall showing a bit more presence that quarter.

Has really imposed himself after half time.  Great to see

That's the best bit of play all day starting with a great blind turn from Laurie and a super fat side HB to break open the play

IMO it's only a matter of time before we see Jeffo and Verrall in the seniors.

That time might be another summer, but they’re both promising.

Verrall’s decision making is bugging me, does too many dumb ruck things for a shorter mobile ruck who needs to be another mid to be useful. But he is a competitor.

Least that's a start...

Has had plenty of it since half time but his decision making and turnovers have been killers.

unbelievable that north have duursma and mckercher to add to their class ball users going forward

they're going to be very, very good in a couple of years

Sad to say but the following unlikely to make the grade: Laurie,Sestan, Adams, Fullarton, Kentfield. Jury out: AMW, Verrell,  Woewodin,K Brown. Positive outlook: Jefferson.

Bloke said Kenfield 🤣🤣 he came to the club 10 mins ago

C,mon JJR. He was late for his plane after the draft. It’s more like 5 minutes. 🤓

I would not be upset with Schache plating with Farris White in the Ammo’s for the rest of the year.

Too many talls at Casey

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
