CASEY: Rd 10 vs Coburg

Sestan moved off the ball far too easily there for a player of his size

Great potential but at the moment there's not enough urgency, physicality and manic attack for mine at times.

If he brings this more often he could be a beauty.

Yes that's three times they've picked out the opponent with an unforced error.  Very costly and makes it too easy for the oppo

You’re not wrong, missing your teammate 5 metres away with a handball under no pressure is inexcusable.

Jeffo another. 23–14 Casey

Fullo looks to be running in concrete boots.  Will be interesting to see if he plays the whole game out

Casey looking a class above all over the ground, but boy, their forward entries and ball sharing has been sloppy. Laurie, Kolstrup and Jefferson looking good. And I have to wonder about Mitch White. Is he one of those poor sods who is brilliant at VFL level but wasn't able to transfer it to AFL? Because he looks like one of those players who should have made it. Great reader of the play and hits targets off half back.

Suburban footy at its best. Somebody’s terrier providing sound effects into the microphone.

Laurie too good at this level. Just needs to make the transition with confidence. Best game for Adams in some time. White is a star. At 28 he deserves a rookie spot. Fullarton is not a ruckman. Jefferson getting into good spots. AMW has potential but too many cheap possessions.  Verell developing well.  Our policy of umpteen emergencies is absurd unless they know spmething we don't. Halting the development of our young blokes. Kolt just doing enough.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
