Szybkowski some nice kicks  in the last five minutes

The stats don’t show that great mark from Jeffo. Think he’ll be much better when a player like Schache isn’t in the side. Sounds silly but Jeffo doesn’t get a lot of space when Brown - Schache and one of Fullarton/Verrall sit down there too. Not ideal for his development.

Love Shack!

On delay hence the quadruple earlier!

Casey have been very poor in terms of their defensive structure, letting several goals over the back.

Hore is a bit dopey.

McAdam looks a very good forward and obviously AFL level talent.

Jefferson is too slow in both body and mind to play AFL.

Seston looks like a good VFL player now with a high level of balance and skill. I am not sure he will ever get the fitness to play AFL but there is a lot to like.

Fullerton has picked up a lot of possessions but does not scream AFL talent.

Brown has done little.

Hunter is still good enough.

Two hit outs and clearances now

Fullarton is actually playing well around the ground.

Only sneaking views of the game during work, but so far  I've seen three impressive overhead grabs from McAdam. I think we'll see him in the 1s very soon.

Only watched the last half of that quarter but Casey seemed well on top all over the ground, and McAdam yes please if he can follow up with a good second half.

It is hard to find a stand out. Game by Casey is either chip it around or play through congestion often with a turnover. Very few periods of open play

Second quarter similar to first quarter tigs gain momentum. Casey doggedly fight back, regain momentum and score freely. If Casey can apply defensive pressure more consistently will aid winning chances in second half.

Thanks mate.

Has Verrall been playing more forward? Curious given he's been credited with two goals, or has he floated forward from the main ruck duties?

Appreciate the insight if you're able to give some.

Both 50 - 50 mate

Fullerton has now been more active around the ground which has given Verrall more time forward

If he can stay fit he will add to our side.

Numbers & pressure through the corridor their really poor

Great relieving mark from Tomo against Wojsinski (spell!?)

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
