Seriously who’s signs off on this [censored]. Love hearts ? What’s next ? unicorns ? I’m all for indigenous guernsey and I love the art but the love heart is a bridge too far.

These guys are warriors and when they step onto the field they go to war not smoking peace pipes. Call me old fashion and outdated - I don’t care, but it is just not a good look. It’s bordering embarrassing.

remove the heart and it would look amazing.

It’s a touching story and the symbolic nature of the heart in this case is powerful. I can appreciate it is an abrasive viewpoint and in himdsight wouldnt have had as strong language but it’s still not my cup of tea. Each to their own.

After viewing the video clip several times I have changed my opinion on our latest Indigenous Guernsey, beautiful story and so well explained by the designer and her young brother KC. It is now my equal favourite.❤️💙

This might be slightly off topic, but only recently I noticed and was impressed with the Dockers Indigenous Walyalup club logo. I haven't really thought about any improvement of our own Narrm logo since it was first unveiled, but is there room for indigenous artwork in our logo?

Mali's video should be tagged NSFW given I've got tears streaming down my face. Not the best look in the office.

NAIDOC Week runs from Sun, 7 July 2024 – Sun, 14 July 2024; a few clubs already ran out with their Indigenous Guernseys over the weekend but we had our usual kit on, will it get the call up next Saturday?

Something more to think about regarding the role of the guernseys (listen to Tyla's answer to the last question at 1:17):

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
