I do not like thee, Doctor Fell,
The reason why – I cannot tell;
But this I know, and know full well,
I do not like thee, Doctor Fell.

I think you’ve got way more caffeine and guarana hurtling through your veins than I do, Deeves. 😅

Reckon we'll win, but it'll be one of those games where we'll be stressing out until the last 10 minutes

That’s every game for me. EVERY. SINGLE. GAME.

Seeing quite a few Dees fans here. More so than any other team (apart from the home teams). Seeing too many Collingwood fans, as well. I mean, I’ve only seen one but that’s one too many amirite??? 😝

I just walked past four awesome Dees fans, namely Max, Jess, George and Louis Gawn. Pushing the pram and blending in just like any other family out shopping. Any other family where the dad’s a 10-foot beanpole that is.

This is going to be a much harder game than most people think.

Adelaide are not a bad team, and they are under the pump.

With May sore, Viney possibly sick, Clarry with a bung hand and Trac and Chandler also sore, I think it will be a tight contest.

Don't care if it's one of those "we won't beat the top teams if we play like that" kind of games.

Just want to bank the four points with no injuries

If Jack Viney still ill today, is the Kolt a sneaky chance..?
Hubris and in fear of offending the footy gods, Demons to get it done, 10 goal win, and never in doubt.

Very relaxed vibe amongst the players and staff at yesterday’s Captain's Run.  The drills were no more than 3/4 paced, and there was very little contact work.  I reckon we will be as fresh as we can be coming off a 5 day break, but I still worry a bit about this aspect.
Having said that, the Crows have shown no form to worry about this season, and I reckon we have them well covered.  No doubt they will come out firing, and the crowd will be their ally (until we shut them up!) but they will need more than that.  I don’t think it will be an ‘easy kill’, but a kill it will be.  Dees by 21 points.

We lead off the round again.

So much to like about our seasons start, especially quietening the media about our off season 'disrupting' us.

The Crow has been doing lots of promotional work and could be distracted tonight.

Anyway, I expect a hard fought game, we have the right stuff and should make it tough for them.

They have to turn their season around, and we are a difficult team to play. That defensive zone we have, based on gut running, player connection and role playing is great. They will have to have a plan to cut through us, especially if they don't move the ball quickly, and I wonder if Nick's can out-coach Goody's brain trust.

Cmon team, be clean smart, find space, and continue to fight for everything.

Go Dee's!

I’m not too sure about tonight… 5 day break, being in a mini hub for the week, I’m worried about May, Crows backs to the wall.
Winning tonight will be huge for us. But if we are a bit flat and get rolled I think I’ll understand why

I'm more worried about WCW... coming off a 3 day (home & back again) break & no doubt way too many coffees on the road!

I hope to see Petty play a full game forward. He's been getting better each game back.

Bbb as well.

I hope Chandler isn't hampered by anything and he Kozzy and Nibbler kick a decent amount alongside them both.

With Jvr threatening to clunk a lot more and Fritta needing only a few chances to be dangerous and Sparrow lurking, suddenly our fwd line is looking very dangerous.

And they're just the players we know of with niggles...

Five day turnaround, intense crowd, hungry team who always plays better at home.

If their forwards get going and they can get enough entry we'll be in trouble.

But I'm backing our system to prevail still and win a tight one!

Go mf'n Dees!
