Deadset, the deliberate amateur nature of the score review and lack of cameras between goal and point post presumably is all about clicks and driving anger. The notion of ‘it’s better to be spoken about negatively, rather than not at all’ is the AFL modus operandi in full flight.

Good to see Bedford going well.

I reckon there's about 8,000 at the Giants game. Not too shabby for a plastic team playing an interstate opponent in a graveyard time slot in the @rse end of nowhere.

Still waiting on Kelly to win his Brownlow Barrett.

meanwhile Salem had a flag

The game needs more kicks like Josh Kelly.

Sneaky lil Toby! Love watching him play.

You won’t need them. 😉

game over. the two Greens are too good

umps helping too. that free on Fyfe in the middle for the last goal was laughable.

If only GC and us had gotten the job done against this purple mob, their season would be truly over today.

It can be a bit hit and miss, but I really like the way GWS play under Kingsley. But is it GWS are better than I thought, or Freo worse? Freo's worst is weak at the contest, poor decision making and sub par skills.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
