Really appreciate the hardness Hunter has brought into the side.
Robertson would not call our side soft cooks anymore and Hunter is a hard cookie.

Apart from his first few kicks on Monday I thought that was one of his best games for us. I will be honest though still can’t say I like him yet though.

Better get used to cheering him as he ain't going anywhere soon. Only spot may be a swap of wings with Lingers or you swapping your preference if which side if the ground you sit.

Was an amazing game as I hardly noticed Lachy much except for the  obvious and also Trac get 28 disposals. Problem IMO he butchered about a third especially on the forward line. He really must just realise that most times he has another split second to steady and deliberately kick for goal rather than bang it on to his boot ASAP and waste the pill.

Other:

When JV pushed the ball forward in the dying moments extinguishing any chance Collingwood had of getting it forward.

Yep, he knew forward clearance = game over. Not surprised it was he who got the clearance “if it has to be its up to me”.

Max is a fantastic captain, but Jack is our true onfield leader. Ironically, it’s the loss of captaincy that has improved his leadership.

Did anybody else notice the surprised faces on his teammates when the ground announcer introduced Jack as the winner of the Neale Daniher Trophy by calling him "Captain Courageous"?

I loved the amount of times the 2 Daicos boys were surprised by being immediately tackled. They are so used to running around free and unhindered, but the Dees boys gave them little space, and it showed how much they struggle when played close.

And I have leapt from my seat about 10 times this year, when Kozzie has got both hands on a speccy, only to spill it. I will go berserk when he finally hols onto one!
