Half Time Collingwood VFL 6.3.39 lead Casey Demons 5.6.36

Goals Jefferson 2 Moniz-Wakefield Neocleous White

Disposals Steele 13 Howes Melksham Munro White 12

A rare goalless quarter from Casey who struggled at the stoppages in that quarter.

Umpires practising for tomorrow perhaps but that was a seriously bad quarter by Casey.

Did Laurie have a touch. AMZ has shown little this year after a decent season in 2022

I just went to put a load of washing on, i was no more than 5 mins and now were down by 3 .

WTF.

Rumours of Jefferson's death have been greatly exaggerated..

Quick reply for Collingwood - they can’t seem to miss.

Casey are being troubled by the Pies big men while their smalls aren’t doing much damage at ground level.

so many frees for the filth - kreuger kicks his fourth, this one from outside 50, from another ruck infringement free against farris-white

Just no marking presence up Forward.

well, they don't come gift-wrapped!

but jefferson having 3 goals from our 6 in total tells that as a lie, presuming you mean 'presence'

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
