GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn

Lever too has been poor.

And Sparrow's gone missing for the 2nd and third.

Why the heck are we playing a defensive, around the boundary line style against the bottom side? Seriously take the bloody game on

Hopefully we saved the best for last. Hawks turned up the intensity that quarter

Because we suffer from CAS (corridor aversion syndrome)

Partly due to no one leading up at the ball since Petty went off?

Also until Max switched in late, Grundy got smacked in the third in center bounces and we handed all the momentum (via clearances) to the Hawks

I hear what your saying but surely when you have an undersized forward line, the slow play around the boundary is only going to allow them to flood into our 50, making it near impossible for us to score

Subject to fitness, BBB straight in next week if Petty's injured

Another very solid game from Gus

So you're allowed to drag the ball under and just sit on it now??  Oh right....only if it's in front of our goals

Another horribilis for the umps tonight.  What a sham

Dunstalls commentary (or should I say barracking for the Dawks) is somewhat unfriggin bearable 🤫

I don’t know what you are taking about

seems to be even to me

no irony

ANB our leading KTF !  :jakovich:

Another game, exact same old problems.  Skill level & wasted forward connection/composure. Geelong & Collingwood would tear us apart.  One quarter of elite pressure and then couldn't be assed and started back pedalling through the middle.

Can't really work out who has played well today.  Quite a forgettable one.  Still can't see any improvement from the back end of last year tbh.

P.S - May has an amazing habit of getting in the right spot but then dropping the mark. 🤔

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
