They only mentioned Bruce's calf on radio.

He may have been a bit sore and so they decided to take him off. Lets not jump to conclusions here.

well he was on 21 touches at 3/4 time and he had less than 24 for the game so maybe...dunno anything else though...

Not sure if this helps but I was in the change rooms after the game, Petterd was fairly heavily strapped. That being said he looked as if he was moving fairly freely after having strapping removed and an ice pack applied. A little hard to tell either way.

He came off of his own volition, Jaded, coaching staff had nothing to do with it, put his hand up called for the trainer and then limped off - definitely injured, just hope its a low grade strain.

bruce has a calf injury in the first quarter, started on the bench in the 2nd quarter, got strapped and rubbed down

no idea on petterd, no mention by the room reporters on 3AW

speaking of 3AW, during the 3rd quarter, the boundary rider reported that Brent Moloney had injured his groin and wouldn't take any firther part of the game... all whilst beamer was on the ground :lol:

Fair enough, and I hope you are right about it being a low grade strain.

Put it this way, Bate was on crutches at the end of last week's game, and he was BOG today.

As for Bruce, I'm sure he'll be fine.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
