I don’t think he will drop milkshake.

You might be right.

But i was thinking they might drop him, not for form related reasons, but because we so obviously need a second a tall forward and if Tmac is not ready, Weed is not even in the frame, they don't want to try JVR then Smith is the only other option.

I don't disagree with that assessment, but Smith has played like 3 games for Casey as a forward this year. I doubt he is the answer if we are lacking a second tall.

If we desperately want a marking tall target up forward we will risk Tmac or punt on JVR. To me Smith is more of a medium forward, so would be a replacement for Fritta if he doesn't come up *heaven forbid*

Lever not participating in the next drill (with the back men) either.

Mmmmm.     So are the logical replacements, Turner or Tomlinson training?

Amazed that Melksham and ANB keep their spots. I don't know where the goals are going to come from - hope we find form, but seriously don't know how we kick a winning score especially if we play the pockets.

Melksham was kicking well, saw him slot some hard snaps, on the run and from the boundary, today.

It's obvious he wants to be in a grand final, he cemented a spot, now has to hold it. I imagine he will have set himself up this week at training, to get it right.

I will be disappointed and surprised, if he we don't see an improvement in his game this week.

I'm a bit perplexed by this comment. The fact no grammar/ punctuation has been used means I'm forced to decipher the intent.

Are you saying Uncle is the loverly WCW? If so, I can categorically say that WCW is loverly (lovely) but is not Uncle, although I would pay money to see them meet.

If you're saying Uncle is loverly and every Lander thinks so, then I think you have miss read a number of posters. I have no doubt however that the Maid is lovely considering what she is subjected to.

He was doing the same last Thurs Kev.

Hopefully he can butter up but there's no g'tees in footy especially finals which tend to go next level in pressure, speed on the ball and whatever

DC after reading this potentially unauthorised insight of the great Uncle Bitters i am starting to have suspicions that you and the maid just might be one and the same!

Anxiety as well. Is he cut out for performing when it is demanded of him?

We will find out about his strength of mind.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
