Baker and Dunstan just showed you all why they’re in the VFL.

There is just an arrogance of our melbourne players. Like - you cannot touch me as I’m the level above you. It looks great, but probably demonstrates why the step up to afl is so big. Smith, McDonald, Tomlinson, Chandler, Dunstan just are way too good for this game.

[censored] sake that was far too easy

Love what Wakefield is doing today.

Wakefield, JVR, Bedford, Howell and Bowey will provide plenty of upside next year.

Going to be a genuine toss up between Smith’s 2 year deal and Brayshaw’s 6 year deal for which one is worse

In the case of Bedford for GWS or Essendon

cheers for that, Mitch Robinson

Ahhh, Mitch Robinson. The Stephen Hawking of the AFL

Seeing Tom line up and kick goals breaks my heart because I wanted him to be doing that in the melbourne forward line.

Robinson being a cakeh%#$ once again.

What an embarrassment Robinson is. Just retire already you angry hack.

god damnit, Tommy, that should have been a goal

damn Bowza is a jet. imagine playing Hunt ahead of him...

Who was at fault there. I think Dunstan’s mark, but Tom is the forward. Communication needed at the very least

Tom probably should have left it, but you could tell he was unsure, because he hesitated reaching for it..

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
