2022 Finals predictions

Featured Replies

Hello folks,

I was not sure if we already had a thread on predicting the top 8?  If so, please disregard. If not,  I think this season is very interesting and there will be many changes from 2021.  As evidenced by the game tonight, things are changing. The 'experts' have been very dull in their predictions as usual.  only 1 out of 20 predicted us to even be in the finals last year!  it takes some knowledge, guts and foresight to predict (and a lot of luck).   I am not saying I have any of this but thought it might be fun.

Anyone keen to share their top 8 predictions?

Here is mine:

  1. Brisbane
  2. Melbourne
  3. Port
  4. Sydney
  5. GWS
  6. St. Kilda
  7. Bulldogs
  8. Essendon

A meat tray to the winner - *sponsors yet to the be confirmed

Fair enough having a laugh. But look at their list. They’ve had so many injuries and now are looking stable. Blokes like King, Marshall, Crouch, Steele, Zac Jones, Hill, Gresham

they are my tip to rise.

2 Brisbane

3 Carlton

4 Essendon

5 GWS

6 Bulldogs

7 Port

8 Sydney

9 Fremantle

10 Geelong

11 Richmond

12 St Kilda

14 Collingwood

15 Hawthorn

16 North

17 West Coast

18 Gold Coast

  • PREGAME: Gold Coast

The Demons are back at the MCG for the second week in a row. They face the Suns off a 15 day break without their prized recruit and former Demon champion Christian Petracca. This will be a massive test for the Demons who will be facing a genuine Premiership contender. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
