At the end of 2020, he was being hawked around to other clubs but their were no takers. He knuckled down and resurrected his career in the all-important key forward position although back problems hampered him late in the season and he was a little subdued in the finals.

Date of Birth: 18 September, 1992
Height: 194 cm
Weight: 99 kg

Games MFC 2021: 23
Career Total: 193

Goals MFC 2021: 33
Career Total: 142

Brownlow Medal Votes 2021: 8
Premiership Player

He had a quiet few weeks in the finals but he was immense during the season. Was huge in a few wins early on too. An integral part of the Premiership season.

Well done TMac not only resurrected your football career at MFC but also succeeded in becoming a Premiership player and immortal of the MFC. Also 2nd longest serving player after Max, it will be great to see you rack up your 200th game early next year.💕❤️💙

Turned things around, even when quiet was a piece of the puzzle.

Hopefully he puts in the same amount of work this pre-season as he did last year.

Looking forward to a full year of BBB/Tmac/Fritta

Played his role perfectly as did everyone.

Bizarre that a player that was almost unloaded set up our premiership with his earlier games this year. HIs dip in 2020 form also a catalyst for recruiting BBB who was no slouch this year either. toms form dropped off again at times the end of this year but played a huge part on other games. At his best hes one of the best forwards around and I hope he can return again at this level next year. An in form Tmac and co is a 100 point game every week.

And Kozzie. The four firing worth the price of a ticket anytime and balances out us having the best backline as well.

I thought he was done, and Weideman would swoop in over the top. He pushed and pushed in the preseason, got himself into his best ever condition, and had a super, super year, especially early on. I am so glad one of the older crew - along with Max - got to see finals success. Well earned.

While he wasn't in the best form during the finals, he continued to work very hard off the ball. In re-watching the finals games, the amount of times he was running goalward, 5 metres off his man and not used, was astonishing. His running capacity allows him to get to contest after contest, and if the opposition don't account for him, he will end up with 2-4 goals.

Rapt for him.

Could not have put it better Mb.

Enjoy all of TMac's 33 goals from the 2021 Season!

Probably would've been in touching distance of 50 majors for the year had he not injured his back in the latter part of the season.

My understanding is his form dip was brought on by pre-season injury, the same situation that blighted his 2019. I was so pleased when he turned it around this year, felt sorry for him when injury struck again. He's been such a great trooper for the Demons.
