I've yet to hear or watch or listen to a Trump supporter who doesn't conform absolutely to your description: not one, sweetheart. Giuliani may not be uneducated but he is the epitome of white trash.

Votes 2016

Clinton - 65,853,514 More Americans voted for Hillary Clinton than any other losing presidential ... and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia

Trump - 62,984,828

Trump polled over 70 million this time so i don't think that his supporters shifted away from him. He now has the honour of having the highest number of votes for a losing presidential candidate.

I'm not a Trump fan but I'm not a Biden fan either and doubt he will last twelve months, so it will be Harris as President for the majority of this term, unless he can get Obama to run the office for him the same way he ran his campaign,

Any evidence that Obama 'ran his campaign'?

Made a few speeches in the final days? Yes. Ran his campaign? Not that I saw.

Endless wars and endless islamic terror are back on the menu now that the swamp might be back in charge.

It was a beautiful 4 years of peace under President Trump.  No new wars, troops pulled out of the middle east, peace deals galore. Some people just don't understand how great they have had it.  Once ISIS is back in the news 24/7 they might wake up.

And now China will have free reign to do as they please.

You had all better pray the Supreme Court takes the mass voter fraud seriously and that Biden doesn't get anywhere near the White house.

Who ran it if not Obama? Joe was missing in action, particularly after bedtime, I'd say that Obama was more visible that Joe ever was. I doubt that the Democrats would trust Joe with a sustained campaign.

Personally I don't care who won, other than it's obvious that Joe has the early stages of dementia and will struggle to remain coherent for much longer, sad to see a politician that's drifting off to the land of sundowners. Also his dealings with his son and the acceptance of underhand payments was conveniently swept under the rug by the media and social media.

Harris will be in power before the first term ends and will lose office and never be elected at the end of it. I don't think she is the most popular Democrat in the ranks.

I'm just glad its all over, I am sick of the whole debacle.

In other words you've no idea. Just a 'gut feeling'?

One thing in there I agree with - for all of his faults, Trump didn't start any wars (unlike the last Republican in the White House) Mind you, his war on science (in regard to both climate change and the pandemic)  will cost a lot more lives.

So is your comment that all Trump's supporters are redneck racists, just gut feeling or a racist comment?

OMG. How dumb is The Dumpster? Dunning-Kruger on steroids. Telling all his white-trash followers to come out and vote on election day (never mind the virus - doesn't matter to him - he's already had it) and then screaming 'I won' when the first day's results put him in front.

Yesterday's 'press conference':  broken man blues. Even his hair transplant knew the jig was up.

Dumbest politician since Dan Quayle. Craziest since George the Third.

What sort of a racist comment is that?

We'll all hold our breath for Trump to provide actual evidence.

You’re right. Trump didn’t start any wars overseas. He just killed 240,000 of his own people by doing [censored] all about a deadly pandemic. What an America hero.

Good riddance to this self centered pathological lying racist sack of horse [censored].

Hmmm - maybe - but if racism means unfair criticism of members of another ethnic group, then I plead not guilty, since I'm a member of the same group (white person of European descent)

looking at all those people like the ones Pollyanna showed us back in the Jordan Klepper interviews - hoovering up Trump's Q-anon BS - now they're waving their guns around and crying 'we was robbed' - they don't strike me as rocket scientists - what would you describe them as?

Biden has a stutter which he has worked hard to overcome and that affects his speech.  There is no evidence he "has the early stages of dementia and will struggle to remain coherent for much longer".  Are you ageist?

More a far right troglodyte than an ageist, I would have thought.

What should he have done? What power did he have to close down the States like the Premiers of Australian States did?

Wouldn't it be the State Governors that wield this power?

What do you think Joe will do to stop the deaths? Give me an example.

Does having a stutter make you introduce your wife as your sister, or calling the race for the Whitehouse the race for the Senate, or forgetting where he is, countless times?

There are many more but Im sure you get my drift.

Tis a pity that they can't get someone under 70 to run for President.

Interesting but inconclusive article on third party candidates in US presidential elections.

I'm sure many are crunching the numbers for running a spoiler candidate in 2024

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/nov/08/libertarian-jo-jorgensen-donald-trump-joe-biden

A Black lives matter candidate would have easily taken 5% off Biden for example. I'm sure there are other single issue parties one could come up with that would cause absolute havoc. One thing holding them back are the campaign contribution laws that favour the mass parties.

He could have - oh, I don't know - supported the science, not turned mask-wearing into a political statement, told the truth, refrained from telling his adoring followers not to be afraid of the virus, not supported quack cures, not held super-spreading events.

Been a leader, rather than the vector-in-chief.

That gets us nowhere. We're all human beings.

How, for example, would you describe your average Trump-supporting Proud Boy? What is it that distinguishes him from, say, your average epidemiologist? Or Emergency Doctor?

Are you serious?

Ummm lets see, he could have told the truth about the danger of the virus, he could have listened to DOCTORS and SCIENTISTS instead of his own insane ramblings. He could have told people to wear masks instead of drinking bleach, he could encourage states to remain Covid safe and work/study from home where possible, instead of threatening to withdraw federal funds from states that didn't 'open up'. He could push for more testing, instead of saying the numbers are high because we are testing too much. And he could have refrained from holding multiple super spreading events for his equally irresponsible supporters, and also perhaps not spread Covid to 90% of the White House by WEARING A [censored] MASK!

He has spent the last 6 months saying "we have a vaccine coming" (we don't yet), "the virus is going away" (it's gotten worse), and "it's not a big deal when you get it, you just get over it and become immune" (240,000 people have already died, and there is no evidence to suggest immunity is possible).

So basically what should he have done is acted like a leader, and not like the orange halfwit that he is. He should have cared about the health of the people who elected him president, and delivered a consistent message about mask wearing, Covid safety, social distancing and so forth. Oh and he should have passed the second stimulus package he's been [censored] farting around with, to help those who have lost their job as a result.

To say he has no power is to admit you know absolutely nothing about US politics. He has a senate majority, hence he has ALL the power.

About a quarter of a million people will die before this moron leaves office. Tomorrow Biden will release a task force filled with ACTUAL DOCTORS AND SCIENTISTS to lead the Covid recovery, and has already said they will push to mandate mask wearing. He isn't even president yet, and already he's done more than Trump has in 4 years. Sounds about right.

Also I love how everyone hangs sh*t on Biden for being 77. Trump is a morbidly obese 74 year old who got Covid.

Not exactly a young fit President in comparison.

If Trump had dealt with even half the tragedies that Biden has in his life, instead of running to Daddy every time he lost a company so he can get a new one, he may have developed some empathy and human decency. Instead he and his offsprings have become a [censored] stain on society.

Me thinks Dante lives in a place called cloud cuckoo. There are many like-minded individuals in this asylum: Bolt, Devine, Sheridan, Murdoch, Credlin, the opposition leader in Victoria, Dutton, Morrison, and more than 70 million members of the US species.

There was a time during the current Melbourne cycle that goes back to before the premiership when the club was the toughest to beat in the fourth quarter. The Demons were not only hard to beat at any time but it was virtually impossible to get the better them when scores were close at three quarter time. It was only three or four years ago but they were fit, strong and resilient in body and mind. Sadly, those days are over. This has been the case since the club fell off its pedestal about 12 months ago after it beat Geelong and then lost to Carlton. In both instances, Melbourne put together strong, stirring final quarters, one that resulted in victory, the other, in defeat. Since then, the drop off has been dramatic to the point where it can neither pull off victory in close matches, nor can it even go down in defeat  gallantly.

At twenty-four minutes into the third term of the game between the Casey Demons and Footscray VFL at Whitten Oval, the visitors were coasting. They were winning all over the ground, had the ascendancy in the ruck battles and held a 26 point lead on a day perfect for football. What could go wrong? Everything. The Bulldogs moved into overdrive in the last five minutes of the term and booted three straight goals to reduce the margin to a highly retrievable eight points at the last break. Bouyed by that effort, their confidence was on a high level during the interval and they ran all over the despondent Demons and kicked another five goals to lead by a comfortable margin of four goals deep into the final term before Paddy Cross kicked a couple of too late goals for a despondent Casey. A testament to their lack of pressure in the latter stages of the game was the fact that Footscray’s last ten scoring shots were nine goals and one rushed behind. Things might have been different for the Demons who went into the game after last week’s bye with 12 AFL listed players. Blake Howes was held over for the AFL game but two others, Jack Billings and Taj Woewodin (not officially listed as injured) were also missing and they could have been handy at the end. Another mystery of the current VFL system.

Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.
