It would be interesting to run this again in a couple of years if we get a flag.

I suspect Max will bow out gracefully in the top 4 and we get a Stynes/Lyon playoff...

Although Neitz is still a dark horse.

A flag would change things.

Impossible to vote against either.

It gets harder tomorrow - Schwarz v Neitz. Messing with my mind.

Very optimistic of you rjay......& I agree a flag may change things, however, that's more that a couple of years away, let's be honest. (I'm happy to be proven wrong though) ?

Stynes will also have the number 1 tag stitched up for a long time IMO & can't see any of the new crop challenging Jimmy unless Oliver wins another couple of Bluey's.

You don't have to vote against anyone 't'.   Just vote for one of them.

A vote not given implies a vote "against". Can't do it.

Robbie.

Exactly,  so its not really being disloyal to anyone.  It is just that,  what it is.   A personal truth

Good as Jones has been for us, he's a long way short of the AFL's best midfielders. Has never been All-Australian.

Nathan was no slouch , he was a terrific player  played in  ordinary  sides and gave his all.  He held his own against the best.

Hard nut and most of all loyal. Could easily had left for glory.

Loved Jimmy; heart and soul player, great athlete, worked hard to get his skills up to scratch, and simply a club legend.

On Jonesy, for someone who has the knock of not great skills he's kicked some absolutely cracking goals over his career. Maybe people will argue he was the cream that rose to the top during an awful period but I think that's disrespectful to his guts, endeavour, and underrated abilities.

One's a champion, the other is a legend.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
