This link doesn't work , neither here or on the club website.

The interesting part is that he thinks only 1 or 2 players will miss Rd 1, not including Bennel, KK and Neita. Preus being an obvious pick I’m guessing either May or Vanders. How’s Hannan been tracking because he may be questionable as well

" “There’s probably only one or two guys that are in danger of missing Round 1 that haven’t been on the long-term injury list like Harley (Bennell), Nieta (Aaron Nietschke) and KK (Kade Kolodjashnij), so I’m pretty happy. "

Tell us who! Damn It. Is he referring to May? Macdonald? Preuss? AVB?

This lack of information is really frustrating me!

Pert strongly hinted May will miss round 1, on SEN yesterday.

The other 1 or 2 might be Petty, AVB, and Hannan.

Preuss is an obvious out but I don't think he would've been selected in a 32 degree day anyway.

Hopefully T Mac is right to go for round 1. He IS our most important player in the side as demonstrated by us going 0-7 in his absence, and the sole reason we beat Carlton last year. It's critical they manage him correctly through to round 1.

Kicked the winning point against GC too.

He played terribly last year and was clearly hampered by injury, but was still so important.

Hannan is set to join the main group on Monday. Perhaps he might be one of the "guys"?

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
