Either as coach or coach's mentor.

Straight swap with Port?

Would he play well with Goody?

He's contracted for another year so doubt anything will happen.

according to caro on classified last night, he has a trigger clause where he has to make finals in one of his first three years (2018-2020 inclusive) in order to trigger 2021

how many port adelaide people can we have? already got mahoney, chaplin and burgess on contract for next year, interested in richardson, is hinkley available?

that's a LOT of chocco williams influence in the first three at any rate...

richo and hinkley add different experience

And Port could quite realistically make 8th spot still

Is that such a bad thing? Clarko was a Choco understudy.

Roos OTC basically said he has grossly underachieved as coach with the talent at his disposal.

Hinkley relies on the odd trick (smash Gawn; get Lachie Neale) rather than rely on a sustainable system that he has created.

Grossly overrated, but loved how he went bold in a super-draft.  Port are set talent-wise for the next 5-10 years.

Missing finals with that list 4 out of 5 years.

we'd be insane to pick him up!

I think both their playing days are well over 'ra'...

...but the way we've been going they couldn't do a whole lot worse.

Port has 4 players only on their injury list, 1 is a test for this week , 1 back within 2 weeks.  So essentially a full list.

Only Brisbane is in a better position list wise.

So  how well should they be doing? Expect some blood letting at Alberton.....

Cut out the middle man and get Choco as the mentor. At least we'll die laughing.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
