Welcome to the 1970's.

That’s what the sign says that we have up at the Perth Airport arrivals terminal.

Fair enough but for a bloke with 16,000+ posts who is obviously a passionate supporter of the club you have also missed the various articles over time on her on the club website and not listened to any of the podcasts. She has also been on the tv footy shows and there has been articles on her in the mainstream media. She ain’t Patrick Dangerfield but the guys on here claiming ‘no idea’ must really go out of their way to avoid any AFLW news even that of your own club.

So a few years ago it was Troy Chaplin supporting Richmond, now our own Lilly Mithen has shown a passion for the Geelong Football Club. This is embarrassing and the club should sack her tomorrow

So, she goes along and supports Geelong against someone other than the MFC.

Yeah, not rapped with that, but whatever.

But why post it all over social media?  That's just plain silly and kind of rubbing our noses in it.

Agree with this wholeheartedly.

I've sat behind her and a bunch of the other MFC AFLW players at the G for a men's game last year. Seemed to cheer pretty hard for us.

They moved during the 3rd quarter. I was with @Bitter but optimistic and he was a drunken disgrace trying to get Daisy Pearce's autograph. I moved too.

The cats went hard at Lily to pinch her from us, they thought they’d get her in the end, but she stayed with us, in part because of the culture we’ve developed with our AFLW team.

It doesn’t make a great photo, but does any seriously give a F?

Yep, the bloke who started this thread.

He has a history though.. started a thread couple of years ago during the Roos era kicking and screaming like a child because some of the boys had put pictures on instagram out having a couple of beers after a loss...

Humans having beers after a loss = death penalty according to him...

You’re a petty and  jealous fellow Moonie!

Daisy and I graciously exchanged autographs . Hers is displayed proudly among my many gold awards

I imagine mine would be prominently displayed at her abode

You’ve got me covered on stats Ethan

However, I too will take this opportunity to be critical of you ( in a supportive way unnaturally)

  1. You lost a lot of credibility when you divested yourself of the hard hat photo

2. You should have specialised in posts about scat throwing.  This is an area where many d’landers lack expertise and could look to you as a guru

Just sayin

I only came here to see what the fuss was all about. Conclusion? Ho hum.

BBO - after the events of this weekend I am happy that you didn't use the word f-logging.

You may get a suspension by PC Gillon.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
