Rd 20: AFL Team of the Week

Not the first time Cornes has left Oliver out when he should have been in there.  Another 10 coaches votes but thats not good enough for Kane.

Hes got something against him.

Thought Hogan's game was good but not at that level.

Brayshaw and Oliver far more dominant.

Pleased to see Salem getting recognition.

I'm comfortable with Hogan being selected given that a number of the big name forwards had quiet weeks - 22 disposals, 10 marks and 4 goals is a huge game for a key forward, notwithstanding the quality of opposition.

The omission of Oliver is laughable.

Hogan is is fair enough. I know there were some good games from mids but Clarry had to be in surely.

Oliver is clearly becoming a victim of his own high standards. He was BOG by a mile.

Oliver is in there every second week, Cornes loves us

Spot on. Even had us winning the flag at one stage during the year. Fast becoming a Melbourne fan boy.

Salem has just been going about his business quietly but his distribution from the back line, especially with Hibberd missing, has been critical to us. Defensively maybe needs to improve but offensively he’s been fantastic.

Hogan stepped up in Melkshams absence as both a distributor and finisher.
