I guess we don't have to ask the standard "how did it feel to get drafted questions".

As long as you don't ask the "how does it feel to make finals" questions.........yet

What was the message at quarter time and how good was our defence when we weren’t playing our best footy early and were only 9 down with 8 or 9 less inside 50s?

Oh, was there a wind blowing Adelaide’s way in the last?

Will his “fend off” become better than Dusties in years to come???

A few suggestions:

please ask about if tagging, what affects his decision to go for a ball in his own right as distinct from standing back and tackling the tagged player when he gets the ball.

Did he alter that mindset in the last quarter against Adelaide

Would also appreciate some discussion on the hard press and whether instructions are given to vary the press depending upon conditions, relative scores, opponents etc.

Ask him also about playing in Darwin and how it impacts him personally from a fitness viewpoint both during the game and afterwards.

Thanks

We've formulated the questions already but I am already asking some of those. I might see if I can squeeze in the Darwin one though.

He was a great caller. Get him on Demonland.

For sure, he loves the pod!

Great work as usual guys!  I wonder if Supermacado's neighbour has discovered the old speaker in his back yard yet (lol).

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
