Bang Bang Bang 5,875 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 The Demon Shop is sold out of most sizes of the lovely clash Guernsey... And won't be getting any more in this year they said. I know there are plenty of other stores that sell Guernseys both online and at shopping centres, if you can help out in any way, your help would be much appreciated. Quote

Ethan Tremblay 31,388 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 (edited) Have you checked New Balance online? Edit: just took a look and can only see it in junior. Edited May 24, 2018 by Ethan Tremblay Quote

WERRIDEE 5,638 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 They had some jumpers at the New Balance store at Melbourne Central you might want to check that out that where I brought mine. 1 Quote
Earl Hood 6,167 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 The Demon shop seems to sell out of popular things regularly, I tried to buy the indigenous jumper last year but got told at the shop sorry none left, sold out and won’t be getting anymore, bad luck. Quote
Monocology 1,109 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Yep Melbourne Central New Balance had a few clash jumpers yesterday. If you're after warmth you'll have to knit one yourself. Quote

I would've picked you as a MFC formal blazer type of guy Earl. CS might have a few spare if you are keen 1 1 Quote

darkhorse72 1,943 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 At this stage I can't relate to the clash jumper, too many bad memories from the late 70's to 80's when we lost every week in it. Though its faring far better as a winning jumper now Though it is the best clash we have had compared to all the other one's the club tried. Quote

I got on board in 88; one year after we reintroduced the navy blue. I know that from looking at the historical record that we were rubbish in royal blue but it doesn't hit me as hard as it wasn't a lived experience for me. Up til now, I have associated it with winning. In fact, I have seen us put in more shockers in the navy than the royal blue! In some ways, I reckon that we should pay more homage to that era. To know where you are going, you must know where you have been. I reckon that acknowledging the struggle we have been through will make success sweeter should we achieve it. Quote
