Not surprisingly given the dominant display, we had 6 players in the Team of the Week:

Cunningham, Hore and Newman in the forward line.

Jakobsson in the backline.

O'Dea and Paxman in the midfield.

Got to respect O'Dea for being in the team of the week again despite not being the super-standout player either week. She simply delivers a really high standard every time.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.
