Sean Wight was a brilliant he & Robbie Flower were my favourites. I remember seeing Sean play on Ablett etc. He was so athletic diving full stretch to stop a certain goal etc He copped a lot as well and was so fair. Unlike Lethal who snotted him behind play.

Donโ€™t tell me Lethal got him as well? I remember Steve Smith and Peter Giles. Amazing how thugs with some football talent can be feted in later life. I am thinking Dipper as well.

here it is february and we still have a long rehab list. even if many get off rehab we will still have a lot of players with a limited pre-season

not the best way to start a season

i'm starting to feel like od

Its more like they are taking their time getting the right rehab into them. That's a good thing.

Intra-club this week? Other clubs have had there own versions of over the end of last week/this week.

Nah, the players called it off...

20 player squad required for that Ex-AFL rubbish on friday so that would disrupt our chances of having an intra-club, you'd think

Don't think we do intraclub games anymore do we? Roos wasn't a big fan of them.

Shame. I was at one of my nieces wedding last year and, for a moment,ย found myself dancing with my sister. I said to her that it was just like playing in an intraclub match. She looked at me very blankly.ย

Think we would have one in the week of no JLT game.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
