Garner? Wooller?  Midfield runner needed.

why Petty??

We got Baker at our last pick anyway.  Worked out perfectly.  Patience is a virtue.

Every draft seems to have a few surprising names to miss but if every club passes them up then that has to tell you something....

Now Port have 4 ex dees on their list!

Watts, Trengove, Toumpas, Barry

Fantastic that Hamish Brayshaw has a gig with WCE so will be in WA with his brother, Andy at Freo.

Very happy for the Brayshaw family.

Far too nice, LH.  Ruins our chance of luring Andrew back in two years time! ;)

Yes needed Baker. There’s a spot there if he’s good enough. I have seen in the NEAFL and has the pace required.  A good pickup in the end.

If we get one player out of this lot we have done well.

It's a numbers game at these picks...we had 3-4 picks so to get 1 B to B+ level player would be a good result, 2 exceptional.

Lets hope.

They are trying to recreate our success of 2013.

I’m happy for Barry, but that is taking the [censored] by Port.

They aren't the only ones that have scavenged on the carcasses of our pretendergasting.

All first round draft picks that we on-traded for steak knives, or delisted.

Apart from Barry, they were top three no less.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
