My 3 word player analysis V West Coast

I noted 12 clangers by Tyson whilst watching the replay, directly related to his unwillingness to take the first option.. I stand by my claims and am not swayed by possession numbers, unlike some others here

He was credited with 7.  As were Gawn and Vince, while Brayshaw and Dawes had 6.  He made some mistakes yesterday, but he had 29 touches and 10 tackles as well.  He worked his backside off all day and you gave him little credit for that.

I guess that's what you get when you only work with 3 words.

Jetta - good game  6

t.mcd - good but crucial mistakes were costly 5

wagner - ok. turnovers costly.5

Frost - very good. pace and backed himself.8

o.mcd - not even close to AFL standard. Disposal a worry. Physically gets pushed aside.2

vince - skilled. big heart. got in but a few undisciplined free kicks. 6

M. Jones - good run. One of his better games. 7

Viney - the warrior. needs to learn to kick on his right foot. 6

Hunt - fading. conditions not suited. 4

Stretch - good run again. must use him more and go forward. 6

Kent - good. but I want him to develop so much more and kick 4-5 goals. 6

Watts - another strong game. Most improved award for 2016.  (if any he had kivked the goal in the last quarter) 8

Petracca - yes. so much talent. 6

Garlett - took his opportunities. 5

Hogan - disappointing again.  I expect more. Potential but not engaged.3

Harmes - in and out. 5.

ANB - Needs another week.4

Dawes - marking time. 3

Gawn - another good game. Might sneak a Brownlow vote. Deliberate handball out in 4th was disappointing.

Tyson - loves the conditions. Prolific and won the midfield. 8

N.Jones - best on ground. 9

Brayshaw - pass score 5.

There's no way Gawn's  handball out was deliberate. He was under pressure at the time, and it went over his team mate's head.

That decision cost us the game... Like the Vince " deliberate" against North.

T Mac, wasn't horrible under pressure, he did well under pressure, it was when he wasn't under pressure that he was horrible.

Hunt has had a better year than Petracca, Oliver or Brayshaw. Nobody could have predicted that. He is not tiring just gaining experience.

I'm obsessed with him! He is definitely getting a lot more attention now from the opposition which is why he isn't getting clear runs at the ball anymore.

Has been such a revelation and one of the best things about this season. Should win best 1st year player (pretty sure he is eligible as it works on debut season) at the B&F this year!

I can't believe this gift to Demonland hasn't been pounced on yet. Where are all the "that's all he's marking" comments? I know it's been a long season, but has everyone on here just given up?

So you had isocam on Tyson? Surely you would have also seen the excellent blocking etc, which don't get stats?

Absolutely I did, but I regarded the slow offloading and turnovers as more significant , and therefore I classified Tyson's game accordingly!

You are an island on this one Joeboy, although I also wasn't impressed with your 3er on Nev either

I don't give a toss what anybody thinks of my posts Joeboy, you should now that by now, anyway back on topic, you need to send your isocam footage to both Roos and Simpson, they both gave him votes to come out top

Barney I checked Demonwiki, Eddie played 8 games in 66 for 13 goals. He must have had something more going for him that his stats don't indicate.

Tyson is a battering ram. Like Viney he is tough, never flinches but can be errant by foot.

I'm not swayed by possession numbers, however, we are building a game plan around tough uncompromising players.

Tyson is a gem and plays to our plan.

Just a few points.

Love that Barney doesn't know What Os means.but is

Note That the WAToday paper had Tyson as BOG which is possibly true despite their parochial stance.

Max never made a mistake all day- the umps erred.

We could forge a river between Wyhalla and Darwin and tell them to take their base metal andgo fick themselves.

Will never buy anything made in that country ever again.

We must be poor judges Joeboy - Tyson top of the coaching votes for the game with 8 and Kent, who I criticised in another thread got 4.  Don't know why so many get upset with an opinion.  Your 3 worder is good fun and promoted discussion.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
