GAME DAY - Round 19

Featured Replies

Bail can do 10 good things but undo all his good work with one big clanger.

He'd probably make a great 5k runner, except for the fact that every now and then he'd turn around and run the wrong direction or something.

Jack Watts 6 possesions 0 tackles

Double the contested possession that quarter, plus 20-8 in hard ball gets.

The story of 2014 - not direct enough, not enough inside 50s and not enough scoring shots. Then when you only generate 12 scoring shots in a half, you need to convert. We haven't won a game this year when we've kicked more behinds than goals.

Give us something good we've done, for the first time in your life

Bail's GPS would run out of energy before he does. Covers a huge amount of ground.

We've got to be bolder and go more direct. We seem to mark and stop, go back and all any loose player to be picked up before kicking the ball... Frustrates the bejesus out of me!

Spot in titan, and going by what Roos is saying this pre-season will be about developing that offensive game now that we understand how to run both ways and shut a team down. He can push them harder and, hopefully, get more out of them again over the summer.

Great. Lions looking into the sun next qtr and we get some cloud cover!

So far I'm glad Kent was not the sub.

Seems to me that Tappy is growing in confidence with more games under his belt.

But Blease remains too overconfident for mine. I like his dash but wish he would be more of a team player sometimes.

Jack freakin' Watts is playing an absolute mare.

Apart from a dropped mark and the odd mistake the bloke works incredibly hard, 11 touches, 4 marks, 3 tackles... far from our worst.

The odd mistake?

Really?

McKenzie with the towering mark! I just knew he'd miss that goal...even from there.

The odd mistake?

Really?

80% of our players are guilty of it. No idea why you single him out.

McKenzie misses from the goalsquare. Pathetic.

Could have been the worst kick he's ever had, and that's saying something.

At some point we're going to concede a goal and lose all our confidence.

100% of our players are guilty of the odd mistake.

Bail unfortunately makes more than probably 80%.

The positive, though, is that if he can work the mistakes out he has the rest of his game set up.

How close would MCKenzie have to be before you were confident he would score a goal?

Fair point, although it annoys me that he is the one singled out to be dropped for a bloke who doesn't even play the same role.

Yes there are other serial offenders. He's one of the worst.

Michie deserves to come in and someone needs to make way. He's my candidate. Back to the game eh?
