GAME DAY - Round 19

Featured Replies

Goal to Merrett. You'd hope that, despite it being a low-scoring game, we didn't think those 2 goals had us far enough up. Long way to go yet.

NB: this will be our 9th game holding a lead in the last quarter.

I'm overseas and it's late at night. I've rushed back from dinner to tune in. Can someone give me a short synopsis of the game to date. I gather from a quick look at some of the comments, I should have not skipped desert....

Injuries might be taking hold here. Tapscott already subbed off, McDonald sore, Pedersen now has the nose.

Edit: McDonald off with a sore ankle, already had treatment on his shoulder.

Frawley switched back because McDonald is off. How the hell are we supposed to kick the 1 or 2 more goals we need now? God it would suck to lose this game.

Goal to Brisbane.

We're stuffed I think. We've resorted to pushing numbers back and we don't look like we want to press forward with any urgency.

Turnovers

Injuries have cruelled us this game. McDonald, Pedersen, Tapscott. If we can somehow win this game, I'll be mightily proud.

No, our own mistakes and turnovers and our inability or unwillingness to play attacking football will lose us this game.

It's like getting paid for being idiotic footballers.

That, and injuries.

Etihad record intact

JKH has messed up a couple of crucial loose balls for us. Needs to stand up.

Hahahahaha.... I had no decking doubt we'd lose to these flogs. We're pathetic.
