Put both Grimes & Trengove back to Casey for a start.

The worst decision of the last decade to make them co captains.

When have either of them done more than battle on??

The Captain leads by example.

I can't for the life of me understand why Trengove especially was made captain if not for a PR stunt, Jones, Moloney, Davey, Garland, Rivers, Frawley, Clark should have all been ahead of both

I can understand it.

It was "Neeld's New Dawn". Pity it was a shocking decision. The board should have put a stop to it. But they were too busy looking over the shoulder whilst the Tanking Investigation dragged on.

Moloney [censored] on a bar

Davey finished last in time trial and was soft as butter on field

Trengove and Grimes were better footballers than Garland and Jones at the start of 2012

Rivers gave up whenever it got hard

Chip Frawley derrr

Clark was new on the scene from Brisbane

I'm hoping Grimes gets back to form soon. That he is still co captain tells me he wasn't the worst choice in 2012. Trengove was way too young but then again leaving Grimes by himself would've been silly as well. Grimes and Moloney was probably the right call but Neeld couldn't make Moloney captain based on what Moloney dished out in 2012 - petulant sulking football when asked to modify his one dimensional game.

Come on, TM. Grimes has never been a good footballer. He's always been a turn over machine. Even when he used to win a bit of the ball, he would butcher it with horrendous decision making and even worse disposal.

funny, I hope your right.

Great beard Frosty-except now you look like an actor facing serious charges trying to cover your appearance.

Thanks for the personal message last night about little boys in the Melbourne Club.

I wouldn't know what they get up to in there most of the time as I am too off my face to care.

and most of that stuff is usually done in the dorm at school before entering politics for most members there.

The Gatwick is almost more civilised in a funny way ,but far less clean.

Thanks Biffen. I'm certainly no actor or criminal, however some of the things I've posted on here; others think are criminal. The beards clean at least at the start of the day.

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
