energy watch should have raised a few alarms (pi)

they didn't even make or sell watches

no watch...therefore no alarm !!

Hence why your quote was $3k dearer than anywhere else!

Glad one of us awake billy.

If I talk to them again I will raise that.

Should get a laugh!

I understand all that bb

I just thought I would give them a chance as they were the New MFC major sponsor.

They are not even close to where I live.

I have done the right thing by the MFC but AHG don't measure up.

Life goes on.

so tell me old fool you are going to judge the whole company on one employee, that's like judging a footy team on one player, but u have a agenda, you never ever give a positive post on our club.you pot the club ever chance u get.

I can only recount my experience.

You can take it or leave it,

It is that simple

And you have a nice day too ad.

And yet strangely often companies will go to great lengths to remind staff that they will indeed be the face of the company when dealing with the public/customers

so AD which way would you like it ?

Posted

Yes that's your account, but one employee does not defined a company, but that's your mo, u hate the club, you wish the club was punished more harder for the tanking hatch job.

It. Has 100's of sales people.

Youve no doubt heard the expression.... "First Impressions " ??

Now ad take a long breath and calm down.

You can critise me and others for our opinionns on subjects , it is a forum for opinions and you are entitled to yours.

Call me an old fool if that is what you think.

However please do not suggest I hate the MFC and want to see it in a worse position than it is in currently.

You are 100% wrong and I take exception to that comment because it is patiently untrue.

Interesting that your signature talks of Coll supporters not being like "normal people" and then you post ridiculous content like the above. Definitely NQR.

its not my quote its a quote by allen jakcovich he made when talking about how he found opposition supports, as a player he would have better understanding of

As long as their CEO doesn't think it's a great idea to post nude selfies and abuse all and sundry on a Facebook page or the like. That's Bernie Vince's role for starters I would have thought.

I don't mind him being a party animal, even at the age of 28 (he didn't like learning he's one of the oldest on the list). His interview didn't tell me much, so I'll suspend judgement until the season. Cross, on the other hand, inspires plenty of confidence.

(Probably should have put this on the Vince thread)

Posted

ET, I suspect we will learn very early on if Vince is keen to give his all. Can't see why not though.

I agree AD that OD has an Agenda

He wants the MFC to win more Premierships as he loves yhe MFC

Oh sorry AD do you want people to only say position thing about the MFC. Well over the past 7 year that would not leave a lot to say.

OD is entitled to say what he likes about the MFC in a supporter forum.

With all due respect to old, this is not quite correct Toady.

'Land is a privately owned and run forum, mods control who can say what.

Does not worry me.

Ad can call me names I have a thick skin.

IMO you can express your opinion on demonland as long as you dont exceed reasonable conditions.

Posted

, but that's your mo, u hate the club,

You have an absolute right to your opinions, but this bit is totally wrong.

Having spoken to OD and read most of his posts, the opposite is true.

I agree he can be negative at times, but that is his right, just as it is yours, to express our views.

Posted

O.D is only negative towards the MFC because the club was so bad.

There were no positives at all.

His love and admiration towards whorethorn though is a tad concerning :)

Posted

Thanks Redleg and wyl.

Call me anything you like but not a "hater"

You are welcome. How are the spicy beef dishes going?

Posted

Great. Like them with way more poke than Wongs!

next time we'll forego the "mild" :)

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
