Injured list - round 19

Featured Replies

We know all about James Frawley and his hamstring injury - Frawley set to miss up to a month

But here's the full injury list:

Rohan Bail (knee) test

Colin Garland (ankle) test

Joel Macdonald (groin) test

Jordie Mackenzie (concussion) test

David Rodan (hamstring) test

James Sellar (hamstring) test

Nathan Stark (ankle) test

Tom Couch (hamstring) 2 weeks

Mark Jamar (foot) 2 weeks

Michael Evans (foot) 3 weeks

James Frawley (hamstring) 3-4 weeks

Mitch Clark (foot) season

FCS what have we done?? Have we had a 'first choice' goal to goal line at all this season?

Frawley - a month!! Why even consider him for what would be a final round return? Put him on ice until the preseason.

Put frawley, jamar and evans on ice, absolutely no good in risking them for 1 or 2 games.

What about two of last week's unexplained "outs" in Dean Terlich and Tom Gillies (I know Gillies isn't strongly fancied by some around here but he's on our list so it would be interesting to know why he missed last week)?

Also would be good to see Nathan Stark getting a run after such an injury affected season.

Errr....no.

Agree jr, the only "test" that is AFL standard is Garland

The rest should be playing VFL, SANFL or WAFL

Agreed, Jack. Does anyone know what Terlich's problem was/is? I've not heard or seen anything at all about why he was replaced from last week's side. Could it, maybe, have been illness, given he is not on the injury list with "test" beside his name?

Wasn't it reported as "quad" in the media somewhere? if so, it may make him a doubtful starter for a couple more weeks irrespective of his missing a place in Melbourne's weekly entry into the national fiction awards.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
