GAME DAY - Round 11

OK so Melbourne does not want to pay out Neeld because we’re broke.

Here’s the solution!

We are on top of the ladder in the VFL (shock, horror) so swap coaches!

Let Casey’s coach be our coach until the end of the year and Neeld can try and coach Casey!

Why not?!

No way in the world would Casey agree with that.

Hell, Welsh would prob laugh if you asked him, ruin his career before it started.

Cut out easy turnovers and improve our skills - and we were right in this game. Again right there - M Jones I think - kick smothered, turnover, goal.

We haven't done too bad.

Neeld will be safe for a few more weeks, PJ sounds busy restructing the place.

Lynden Dunn get out of this football club!

Gee, when they mentioned all of our outs, we aren't doing too bad.

Frawley, Grimes and Clark are 3 out of our best 5..

Then throw in Dawes going down, Viney out... We have a bit to work with.

Matt Jones is playing really well.

How many games do Oxley, Sinclair, Seedsman, Martin, Thomas, Williams and Kennedy have between them?

What has Casey done to you?

Haven't done too bad?? Are you watching the same bloody game as me?

Nathan Jones zero tackles.

I agree there, but Collingwood have better depth than us, obviously.

I think all those players you mentioned are doing very well, Kennedy, Seedsman and Martin are going to be very good players.

Really like Kennedy.

Yeah I'm just used to 100 plus blow outs, we aren't there yet!

Lynden Dunn get out of this football club!

This place would be so much more tolerable without comments like this. Dazzle I like your work mate but this is just disrespectful to a loyal Melbourne player. Sure he's had an ordinary day but far from our worst this year.

Sylvia is the only Dee leading a statistic with 8 tackles - must think he is a real shot to be picked up by the Pies

its amazing how some people (Fitzpatrick), make it to AFL, and then... to make the 22. do the melbourne staff see the same player i see?

Geez.... I know they put up a fight in the first.... But the easy goals and basic skill errors are just embarassing and hard to watch....

There must be some inquiry into the umpiring!!!!

Think im done with footy.... Bye

Neeld isn't going anywhere, you people are dreaming.

And this is not his fault.

These guys are playing for him and having a crack. Our problem is not structures, gameplans or anything else.

We just have terrible, terrible decision making and technical skills.

What about our defence mate? You don't need skill to play defence, our defence against the kick in is pathetic, when are we going to accept the fact that the coach has to take the responsibility, in what world at 10+ goals week in well out are acceptable? This team since 2011 has gone backwards, we drew and lost by a point 3 years ago to this team!. Neeld will go and he deserves too. No malice here the facts are you cannot continue to get flogged and show no improvement. Our 2010-11 team would be our currant team by 60+ points!!!

geeze louise, he is sitting on 37 possessions, you'd think you would get someone to man him after possession number 20?!

Lol, you think some one in the box would ave said "Swans had a few hasn't he?"

Saw him for a half last week - some guys have it however need development time, other guys just do not have it. He is in the latter category however we have no one better at the moment.

Lyndon Dunn has become our new turnover king. His kicking & handpassing out of defence is the worst I have seen. Someone tell me he is not contracted for next year.

nice passage of play!

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
