Dunn seemed to play a great game on Judd... last week he was down, & seemed without focus, like the whole team.

I think Dunn plays the tagging role well on bigger bodied mids who lack pace. Judd hasn't definitely lost a yard, and he could not have done him cold 3 years ago, but he has performed well on the likes of Watson a nd S.Black before, and is more suited to your Josh Kennedy/David Mundy types.

Small quicker guys with great lateral movement like Ablett and B.Harvey, he gets towelled up.

There is no obvious matcup for him in the Tigers midfield, as Tuck would be the only one to fit the bill and he's injured, so i would keep him down back, and Frawley away from any kick-ins.

Jetta will come in. He should of been in last week and has now had a week off for nothing. If Dunn is to be kept a tagger it certainly can't be at AFL level. But if they do drop him it shows how dumb our ideas men have become. Dunn has showed form down back but to then change him to a tagger and then drop him would confuse and frustrate the hell out of him. Sellar is a backmen and not a bad one on the taller forwards. He should take Vickery if he plays. Will Magner be elevated this week? I hope so. Play dunn down back doing Watts's role. Play Watts forward he should get the second or third defender with Gawn and Dawes down there. T.Mac is out for two weeks please no Gilles.

Judd is out of form. Since when did Dunn become a tagger? Not one pre season report on him training as a mid. He trained down back and his kicking skills are better then Nicho and T.Mac. Dunn starts the season down back gets injured and then KAPOW! he is a tagger. Mckenzie has been a tagger and a pretty good one. What comes with the territory of a tagger is a horrible kick and not much else to offer but a good stoppage player who has discipline and can run all day. Mckenzie has all those traits but no he is a outright midfielder now. If this was a plan at the start of the year then Neeld and Co think Mckenzie is a better mid then Magner. No wonder N.Jones struggles sometimes when he has Dunn and Mckenzie in the midfield with him.

I remember a few years back when we played the Tiges and Jodie went home in the back of Trent Cotchins car....still taggin him.....did a great job that day.

I thought Jordie would continue to tag but his pre season would be concentrated on trying to be effective with the footy when he does get it at the odd chance. I never thought Jordie would line up in the midfield not as a tagger.

Its time to put Watts into the middle. That is where our greatest weakness is and it needs an injection of class. Empower the kid and give him responsability to turn our fortunes around, not sit in a pocket and hope he can be a hero on the back of someone elses work. It will give him nowhere to hide and he will have to learn to take the hits. It is not a long term solution, as I still see him as a forward in the future, but it will shake things up for now. Nothing else is working atm, we have to try something. It saddened me to hear Watts say this club lacks leaders and not put his hand up. Leaders are either born or created through opportunity. Start him in the centre and challenge the kid to be a leader.

NO. Put Blease in when he consistently plays decent defensive footy. not just running at the ball full pelt when its all or nothing. sometimes you just need to impact the contest even when you aren't winning the ball. currently he is woeful at this.

Let him spend another month getting plenty of the pill at casey and impacting more contests. I will disappointed if they promote him back in.

Welcome to DL LFS....not a bad point you make. Your quite right, we dont have a lot of options atm. I see Watts as a forward, and rotating him through the midfield would at least go some way in helping him get his hands on the pill.

Honestly, you can't make 4-5 changes every week, players will always feel under pressure. Although that's a semi-good thing, you also need players to feel like they've earned their spot.

So, playing one game and being dropped, may make them feel like they were just a replacement, rather than 'The man'. If that makes sense?

I say, give those a go who show in the VFL, what we lack in the AFL siimple.
