GAME DAY - ROUND 4

The players are dumb and slow Jaded - thats not Neelds fault

You're kidding right?

Watts needs to [censored] off.

That is right from where I sit : GWS have learned what to do to clear from tackles and throw-ups and our failure to counter that is giving them the springboard

It'll be fascinating to see if we are capable of changing it after half time

Should have put my Super fund on GWS when they were paying 6.00

As an aside, and not excusing Melb., GWS have really managed to plunder the draft with all their top picks, and have taken the cream. Give them a few years when their KPP's mature, and AD and co. will be happy bunnies. Makes it hard for the rest of us though.

Isnt he pathetic, he dont give a [censored].

if we have a third quarter like last week neeld will be gone before this games over.

I said it weeks ago, we gotta get Shiel at the end of the year.

Will he come? Doubt it.

The worst I've ever [censored] seen.

Gawn Pederson and Byrne firing. Apart from glancing at this thread, we are still a good chance.

In fact Im happy we werent leading at 1/2 time.

[censored] pathetic

The Giants can smell a win & the Demons can sense a loos coming up.

You're kidding right?

Need some humour around here J mac

Some questionable decisions though - lack of confidence

Watts though - lack of confidence or sof?

Pretty poor show from him - needs to lay some tackles

I'm finding that very hard!!

I am not a Neeld fan, comes across OK in the Media, but rekon that he is too hard on players, being a coach is fine fine, you can't be their mate but you can earn their respect and they will do anything for them, I can't see that the way the players go about things at the moment..

Having said that nothing to be gained by waving good bye to him during the season, only causes more unrest and potential GOOD future coaches may be reluctant to consider us. Also means that we have to as well as paying the $500k board cave in on the not guilty tanking we also have to pay 3 years worth of contract for Neeld for one season and 4 weeks.

Let him turn up for the rest of season (I didn't say let him coach for the rest of the season casue he can't coach) then let the new president and CEO work on a move forward position with a tried and proven coach not another unknown or unproven one.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
