On the day of my son's birth, almost 10 years ago, I rang the MFC and joined him up. First thing I did, before I rang mates and family. I dreamt of winters going to the 'G' with my Dad and my son, cheering our team on, enjoying the games together. This is what I get. Our loyalty means nothing to the club. They look like a club, talk like a club, but in the end, they are a football team and their job is to win games, or at least show us something. I can't allow my son to follow this bunch of losers, it's such a bad example in life, no effort, no improvement, no commitment, no passion, no heart, not one thing about the team or the club we can be proud of. His little mate barracks for Geelong. If we follow them, at least I can show him Joel Selwood, and how he goes about the game.
