Pedders is an interesting choice. He had his moments (delivery to Byrnes and his mark on the line and goal). Not sure I'd put him in my best but deserves another crack next week.

Was tough to name anyone after the top 3.

But 10 disposals at 100% efficiency and a goal playing in a forward line with barely any supply is a better effort than most on the day.

Just back home after driving 1300ks to watch that garbage. What a waste of time, money and emotion that was!

My votes:

6. Viney : first game, and did more than enough to show that he will be an important part of our future ............... if we have one.

5. Grimes: battled it out, while most of his team mates played like they didn't give a damn.

4. Jones M: first game, tried hard, and was far from the worst.

3. Toumpas: first game, and deserves a to be cut a bit of slack.

(First time I've given votes to a sub who was on for less than a full quarter but I think that might say something about the lack of effort we saw out there today]

Jamar!!?? You must be joking, although I would leave sixth place vacant as nobody (except maybe Mitch) deserves it.

Jamar: sure had quite a few 'hitouts' (35) but seriously how many advantaged OUR team in any way? What did he do around the ground? 4 marks!!
