    Hello Demons,

    Great to see you guys so keen as always. Us bombers are very keen for this for one reason and reason only we would like to break the common bond we have with a senior side which is not being able to beat Melbourne.

    Seriously though a big thank you to rollo for responding to my message as quickly as he did and thanks to all in advance who will turn up.

    My side is pretty much full already and is looking pretty strong we pushed you last year and wanna take it one step further.

    One thing we have done over at blitz over the last few years is get alot more organized Rollo has tought me well.

    Just on the venue i am waiting to hear back from the council as we seem to think thats when they close VP to treat the grass. Goshes paddock will be our back up.

    Look forward to seeing you all on the day.

    Im bit unsure rollo.. living in wangaratta now makes it hard a bit. But you know me i love these forum matches and will trye and do everything i can to make the trip down.. Fit as a fickle and cherry ripe ;) pre season training started 4 weeks ago for me!

After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
      Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.
