wb range rover!!

Cheers TPM. For that I'm turning over a new leaf. You're off my ignore list ... until round 1 and then we'll see what happens!

Not finishing in the Eagles B&F top 10 sets off the alarm and wakes it right up again - but then you probably reckon Gerard knows more than the Eagles FD.

NicNat was inconsistent no doubt, but there were games where he absolutely monstered the opposition. His best was better Jacobs and Maric, who were good but are not AA quality footballers.

Four seasons in to his career, we are yet to see our no.1 draft pick really take a game by the scruff of the neck.

Why can't he? He's got all the physical tools.

Well just for the record it's guys like you that put me right on our Coach and good on you for supporting him. Like I say to many Demonlanders. We often disagree in a very heated manner at times but I compare it to two dogs on each side of a gate getting somewhat territorial. We all love Melbourne! For most of us and definitely for me consider Melbourne football club "to be my baby". Take the gate away and the barking stops and dogs start playing.

The "baby" analogy comes from being a common sunbather on Seminyak beach. Pay the Vendor for the sun bed and umbrella and you become his baby for the day. No ones going to touch or annoy you.

Once again WB and I was a little out of line with some of the exchanges. Go Dees...

Watts has done a couple of times but agreed still gets pushed aside a little too easily. I think he has the skills and "smartness" to become a star. As I said in an earlier post there is still a reasonable amount of self preservation about the way he plays. IMO persistence is the key. Neeld certainly sees something in him and is aware of the "deficiency". Once move in particular was moving him to Jonathon Brown in the most recent Lions match. Watts will learn from this.

Here's one for you. Not sure how far you go back. You would recall our R. Flower playing multiple positions and indeed flourishing in all except one. First Q FULL BACK playing on Malcom Blight. Reminded me of the Watts/Brown match up.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
