GAME DAY - Round 22

Frawley!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chip Frawley is a magnificent player who turns out more inside 50s than any other player.

The midfield needs to be more accountable.

he's a good player having a barry croker tonite

186 here we come... Well done guys. Nice to show your making an extra effort for a club champion's last game...

You would think the out of contract players and those on the bubble would be having a huge crack instead of this half paced shite. Neeld will be ruthless both after today's game and also at the end of season meetings.

I am looking forward to seeing the delistings this year....

Agree - but he needs to be judged on 4 tumultuous years, not on one night.

btw, for all those screaming about 'worst team ever' etc etc, it's 4th (soon to be equal 1st) versus 16th - some perspective please.

Jack Watts V Nik Nat swung violently to Nik Nat last night.

Who we beat by 100 points last year and then swapped coachs...

How boring it must be

hows your delusional world going ??

I'm sorry but Jack Watts is just a big girl's blouse. Embarrassing.

Still listed as one of your favorite players?

Still listed as one of your favorite players?

I rate his talent and skills. Have been hoping he'd begin showing the right level of intensity but he won't. It's just sad to watch.

Spiritless garbage. We sure know how to roll over and die. We haven't fired a shot since all season. They may as well forfeit next week. Save the money on flights instead of getting supporters to dip into their hard earned to over pay this insipid group of players.

Neeld will be ruthless both after today's game

He's huffed and puffed all year but we still have no balls.

just a question, what football club do you actually follow?

Hes right. And I barrack for a club that used to have some pride.

And there's still a qrt to go..........yuk

He's huffed and puffed all year but we still have no balls.

Don't you think some of our shitty players need to take some of the blame for that?

No one in the team is taking any responsibility. When they get the ball they pass it on to someone else. Under 12s make better decisions than this team. I wonder what they do when training and team meetings? Handballs should be stopped.

lol...careful. Suggest this and you'll be donned 'negative"

I don't expect him to rip shreds off the players in public, but most of them should be wiping spittle off their faces after he is finished in the team meeting after the game. Anything less will be pissweak. Not that we ever know what was said.

Bail, Nicholson, Blease, Frawley, Jones and Macdonald are taking responsibility, but the problem is that barely any of them can kick.

the match is over. Didn't give a yelp. No picks are going to help.

Insipid. Might just be me, but the little clips of Neeld coaching before the game left me cold.

Hope it's just me. But he didn't come across well at all.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
