GAME DAY - Round 22

Featured Replies

Who is the sub again?

Frawley and Trengove just arent close to where they were last year. Wonder why...

Stats are pretty even - uncontested posession is in our favour but turnovers are killing us.

Yeah Blease has done a bit - tackle on Scott Thompson was a cracker.

Bail just cant seem to kick straight. It has to sink in eventually doesnt it?

Bail is not on his own in that regard. Our skills are below AFL standard (theme for years) and it shows game day, where we are on the ladder etc. Going to be a massive preseason for MFC on so many fronts.

Fairdinkum we are our own worst enemy, J.mac's brain fade on the wing would help any decision on his future, imo, and i've never questioned his effort.

Just so frustrating when we continually blow good lead up work to gain possie and then stuff it back down the throat off the opp......arrrrhhhh..lovin the effort

Anyone got a feed?

Just had some vegies, very nice ty

Everyone is having a crack but the skills are lacking for a lot of players. We will see a rather large turnover of the list.

Shocking start to the second half too. Going to get smashed here.

Along with better players, we need to find an identity over the preseason... Just a soulless kind of club right now

Poor choices and disposal. Spencer, Bail and Nicholson

Just had some vegies, very nice ty

Dee-lightful...

Frawley in the wrong spot.

So how much do we need to lose by to have a worst % then GC

Blease if you please... Bit of agro from Bail.

Blease if you please...

Been the only one to show any resistance in the last month

Chip Frawley is a magnificent player who turns out more inside 50s than any other player.

The midfield needs to be more accountable.

We are watching a dumb play by a weekest team I have seen ever.

Watts is bringing back lots of bad memories. Intensity lacking. Sellar 5 contested marks up forward.

Some poor defensive positioning but smashed in the midfield... Scotty Thompson what might have been...

Time to change the name back to the Fuschias...

I wonder what Dean Bailey is thinking in the Adelaide coaching box. Look what they have done to my old side? Or keep a low profile I left this mess??

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
