Chris Judd's chicken winging of Leigh Adams

Didn't Judd get off when he elbowed Pav in the face? Pav went off the ground with the blood rule. Never like him since he takes eyes out, elbows and now armbar's his way to brownlow medals.

Yes he did. I do seem to remember some weak platitude from Judd's guardian angel, Saint Andrew of Macedonia, to the effect that it was purely accidental, or maybe his disciple Jeff G late of Punt Road, (not that the same argument would help too many others get off similar of fences.)

A few years ago, they would have trotted out a neurologist and bio mechanics expert to prove that Judd's "brain fade" was an involuntary side effect of him having received a slight knock to the head some time earlier in the game. Hence case dismissed. Should not happen this time but with Vlad The Impaler still in charge.........hmm, I'm not so sure.

2-4 for this one, surely.

Sums it up nicely.

The Clown

(any Chris Judd fan should look away now)

There can only really be one clown this week and he played on Friday night. Chris Judd (147) could have scored 200 points for all I care, but that one dog like act was all that I saw and confirmed what many have suspected about him…. He’s not a very nice type of guy. While all Bruce, Dennis and the rest of the Channel 7 circle jerk could do was sing Judd’s praises the rest of the football community was dumbfounded at how they couldn’t be mentioning the elephant in the room… Bruce… CHRIS JUDD JUST CHICKEN WINGED PATCH ADAMS AND DISLOCATED HIS SHOULDER!!! Not to mention the fact that Carlton were being smashed… didn’t matter to Bruce, it was champion Judd this, Legend Judd that. In fact I counted more camera shots on Twigley and co in the crowd than I counted replays of the incident. So while Perfect Twigley goes home with perfect Judd to their perfect home lets analyse Mr Perfect a little bit. He shot through on his parent club and sold himself off mercenary style to the highest bidder… who turned out to be the biggest crook in Australian business history…The new full walleted Visy ambassador then went on to show his true colours, His first job as captain was to oversee his new 18 year old rookies being chained to a chair and force fed alcohol til they passed out… welcome to Carlton! Then in no particular order he has been found eye gouging, using pressure point tactics and now chicken winging… with a repertoire like that he should be going for a job at Crown Casino security! What next Juddy? Hair pulling? Squirrel gripping? Anus poking? The AFL has a decision to make… their golden boy has priors and needs to be made an example off, if he gets any less than Wellingham this week it’s a farce, At least Wellingham sought out Simpson after the match and apologised! It’s your move AFL…this guy needs to be remembered for his dastardly dog like acts, not his champion like football skills. End rant.

Yesiiree nothing like a "Spicy wing pack" its HOT HOT HOT!

Dark Horse has just exposed "The Dark side"

MRP referred this directly to the Tribunal. Apparently he was reported for 'Misconduct' but the MRP has charged him with Rough Conduct. Meaning that they could have given him a set penalty, but have decided not to.... Uncerstain as to what that means in relation to charging him though.

Glad he didn't have the option to plead guilty to reduce the charge though....

Yep, and went on to win the Brownlow that same year........

Chris Judd referred straight to the tribunal for 'chicken wing' tackle on North Melbourne's Leigh Adams

He should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute and left to the mercy of the tribunal. 5 weeks.

Called it.

I refer Demonlanders back to my post (no.33 on this thread), with reference to the violent act he perpetrated on Nick Walsh.

I think it shows the type of bloke this champion is.

I really think the football community needs to know about the Walsh incident, but it seems I'm one of few people that do know about it. I sometimes wonder what other dreadful deeds he's done that not many other people know about.

I'm ashamed that I so desperately wanted this former Melbourne supporter to play for our club. I want tough ruthless players, but not cruel thugs.

I can't imagine hating someone enough to gouge their eyes, knowing, as an intelligent guy like him would, that it could result in permanent damage to the victim's eyesight. Similarly, stomping on an opponent's guts, which could quite possibly cause life-threatening rupture of a viscus.

I'd really like Chris to read this thread.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

Melbourne and Hawthorn who face off against each other this week have more in common than having once almost merged and about to wear a blue jumper with a red v triangle and an embroidered picture of a bird on the front.  They also share the MCG as their main home ground, their supporters are associated with the leafy suburbs of Melbourne and in recent times, James Frawley graced the colours of both teams. Even more recently, both have bounced back from disastrous five game losing streaks to start off a season. Of course, the Hawks turned their bounce into a successful leap from the bottom of the ladder into a finals appearance, making it to the semifinals in 2024 and this year, they’re riding high in third place on the AFL table. The Demons are just three games into their 2025 bounce back, and are yet to climb their way out of the bottom four although they are sitting a game and percentage out of the top eight. However, with the current sportsbet odds of $3.90 to win this week’s encounter, it seems a forlorn hope that their upward progression will continue much longer.

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.
