GAME DAY - ROUND 14

Featured Replies

Beautiful day in Qld, ground will b ideal for football.

Not gr8 outs, opportunity for the lads to show us some more of what lies down the track I reckon.

Blease's pace would b handy at the bounce,in Jonesy's absence. GO THE DEE'S.

Not often that all the favourites get up across the whole round. That essentially leaves us and North.

Not sure why, but I have a good feeling we are going to pull off a massive upset with the outs we have.

Riewoldt rumored to be a late withdrawal for the Aints.....perhaps North will be the upset.

Dennis: How did they beat the bombers?

Leigh: I think the bombers had a bad night

we really are the media darlings aren't we

Glad I didn't fly up. Likely to lose my sh!t in front of the TV.

Why must this be on channel 7 and with Leigh Matthews commentating...

I have planned my whole weekend to be sitting down with a glass of red to watch this game. I will stay positive but just dont know how we are going to win the ball at stoppages, its such a shame as I thought the 2nd half of the year couldve given us some confidence for next season but with the first 3 players usually picked out I just hope it doesnt get ugly.

Might be nothing, but I didn't like the look of how different the rooms were before the game, Dees very "relaxed" and Lions look up and about...

Could be one of those signature slow starts, and one of those "didn't come to play" days.

Geez I hope I'm wrong...

umps in good form

already started right

Slow, disinterested, soft.... That's been our effort so far

going to get ugly very early here i think

What are these guys being taught when one of the oppositions most dangerous players (Zorko) has no one within 30 metres of him at the bounce?! Pathetic

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
