ive always rated him, but when he has the ball he stuffs it up most times, in this day and age you simply cant play AFL with that defect

Have to agree, love his effort and guts, but not much skill, but every now and then he seems to have his eye in and have an ok day with his disposals.

I really feel for Mark Neeld. He's had zero go his way all except for the week we ran into Essendon.

This is our anus horribilis. We are and will be a better side than we are showing currently.

the awful truth is that this group of players has zero class/polish between them:

Bate

Spencer

Sellar

Bail

MacDonald

Magner

Nicholson

Martin

bunch of complete hacks really, most sides have 1 or 2 of these in their 22, we have 7 today and thats why we're getting thumped

Thanks for that....don't hold back!

Neeld just wiped the tears from his eyes in the coaches box.

Why is it every time moloney gets the ball he gets caught

Posted

Well done to our biggest liability for setting up Blease for a shot on goal...

Who? Magner or Moloney? I missed it.

Posted

Why is it every time moloney gets the ball he gets caught

because instead of kicking or hand balling he runs into players to try and shrug them off

I started talking draft position, and WYL threatened to punch me in the face.

Not cool....................

I believe you mean 'annus' but what you said actually works even better.

This coach is doing my goddamn head in.

Make a move FFS we are getting destroyed.

Our midfield should be taken out the back and shot.

Jade Rawlings pre game - "the team that turned up in Round 1 wasn't the real Demons". Yeah right!

Another glaring thing here is that Brisbane have a very good idea which of our forwards are not going to chase back. They keep exploiting Moloney & Sylvia & Blease by having their fastest runners streaming down the ground off them & providing loose men.

Bate is a six pack short of a slab if he thinks playing on was a good idea.

Nah, thats just typical Bate, god knows why we kept him.

Melbourne football club has an infinity for spuds I guess.

On the upside though, we have some talent coming through and can hopefully

pick up some good picks this year to build on.

Ive said it for a while,. but you build a side around Clark and Jonest - not Jamar and Moloney.

Howe, Tapscott, Blease are impressive types.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
