6 - Watts: just looks a class above those around him. Have seen him play better games but today he looked totally at ease.

5 - Jones: Again, I actually think he has played better. But his consistency is amazing. Kudos to a player who was once maligned.

4 - Rivers: 4 goals, looks happy and comfortable as a forward... great game today.

3 - Clark: Would have been much much higher if not for injury. Star.

2 - Sylvia: Excellent game but he really needs to do it against better opposition from now on.

1 - McDonald: Don't like his kicking and decision making at times, but defensively he will be A-grade.

Apologies to Sellar Grimes Dunn

6) Jones - Once again 4 quarter effort works really hard and gets the rewards only injury will prevent him taking Bluey this year

5) Watts - Very classy performance showed polish and composure starting to look at home across half back

4) Bate - Played well for 4 quarters and ran away from a couple of GWS kids on a few occassions something I have not seen Bater do for 6 years

3) Tom Mac - Big plus for the season and played with some arrogance, look he relished taking on the number 1 draft pick

2) Dunn - Much maligned by demonlanders but was polished all day and to strong for the GWS boys

1) This was really difficult but have gone for Sylvia who looked to have got some fitness back

Good afforts also by Jordie Mac, Sellar, Rivers, Garland & the Captain Jacks.

6. Jack Watts - Virtually flawless

5. Nathan Jones - Almost flawless. Would be almost unstoppable if he had any peripheral vision. Perhaps if he had a neck he would be able to turn his head and see if there was someone about to jump him.

4.Matty Bates - might have been able to blindside Jones but hair color cost him a point. Seriously though, strong at the ball & absolute precision with disposals

3.Tom McDonald - Even his mistakes brought joy and his hard work has pad off for him and us

2. Jared Rivers - his season just gets better & better.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
