Thought we established our ascendancy in the second half of the quarter.

Jones playing a ripper (again), Clark, Rivers, Nicho, Watts did some nice things, so too Howe but he's got a nasty case of the fumbles.

Azza Davey looks all at sea. Poor bugger has no touch at all.

Davey did a beautiful kick to Garland which set up Rivers' second, but he needs to provide more of a contest when the ball comes to ground in the forward line.

Could someone please tell Jones it's not November yet.

Thats right chook and each of them would have been a melbourne goal. I want blood today.

Anybody watching the Security people at the G today. Bloody hell he's only has money pinned to him.

Gee this Patton we are going to pinch off GWS in 2014 looks good. You can play at the G every second week sun.

Ahhh perfect... That vision is all I needed. Sully [censored] himself, then kicks it to our loyal no.1 draft pick who then kicks it to Trengove who then slots it :D

Jamar roving his own ruckwork. Who needs Nic Nat?

If Moloney pulls his finger out like Sylvia has then we will be a much better team.

Just after MMM told us that Scully has beautiful disposal and never wastes a kick.

Grimes kicking needs some real focus over the coming preseason crickey! Turns it over and puts his team mates under too much pressure!

Sub Clark off, give him a rest and Blease a good run.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
