Who's going to turn up?

(Sigh) I don't know.

Just to open up... Tapscott comes in for Frawley, Sylvia is sub and MacDonald, Howe and Magner start on the bench.

I'm going.

Fuming already because Sylvia is the sub. WTF?!

Either play him or let him gain fitness in the VFL. Complete sh!t.

Already thinking of ways to drown my post match sorrows.

But, Go Dees!

Jesus Jaded, relax... at this rate you'll have blown your foofer valve before we reach round 11.

Just heard Leigh Brown on 3AW....The guy speaks so well...Glad we got him to the club...he talked about 1%'s

So watch closely.

Hoping to see desire and effort like last week. Trenners to have a good one. Train just pulling in now. See you there

Go Dees

Jesus Jaded, relax... at this rate you'll have blown your foofer valve before we reach round 11.

Too late. I already lost the plot at round 1.

Brian Taylor switching between calling our captain Jackson Trengove and Jack Trengrove.

First 2 Goals....C'mon...Half my family barracks for the Aints...i hate 'em.

Trengove has McLean type pace, post injury. Really holds him ba k.

Bate kicks to a 3-on-1, but because we created a contest and had a crumber, Jones kicks a ripper to keep our confidence up early.

This review system is getting out of control... why on earth they needed to review that obvious behind is way way beyond me.

Tom McDonald is having a shocker.

Tom McDonald has absolutely no idea. Plays the man way too much because he runs off him and then gets caught out. Not a fan.

Someone mentioned Jones could play as a great crumber, and his workrate is giving him heaps of opportunities.

Forget these suggestions of Clark for captain... should be Jones... if anyone leads by example, he's the man.

Need some marks though. Individual brilliance keeping us in it.

Winning more clearances! Good running, can we keep it up. Much better aspect this week.

Effort excellent, skill avg, but if the effort stays the ski;s will come

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
