Kerr another injury to add to my list of non playing starters. Crameri, Franklin, Judd, broughton and Kerr 5 spots is impossible to fill. Hopefully Franklin and crameri come back or il drop out of the 8

omr its surprisingly like last year, i left my charge too late but taking out teams above me shaping the final 8, if only my list pulled it together a couple of rounds earlier i think i would of been able to have a crack at it.

Well played Scarlett, 1 kick, 4 handballs.... Aaaaarrrgggghhhhh there goes my season. 2 late omissions - the Chad and Drummond out has killed my finals aspirations.

Injuries, injuries, injuries the curse of my season - I'm sacking Bohdan fom my fitness staff - its obviously all his fault

geez trading Scott Thompson to robbo a few months back could end up being the move of the season if he gets suspended. Anyone see the incident?

I can't see Thompson getting any weeks. IF he does get suspended then it will be an injustice and you MUST rest your best mid!

Actually looking at your side, I don't know how you're favourite? Should be a walk in the park for the 24's

Schofield, Merrett, Jackson will cost you. As long as Thomas and Robinson are back in it will be a 14-1 win. FA's always cost me

Thought I had you Deevoted. You were -3 for free differential and ended up on 9....wtf!

Neville Jetta, you will not be playing this week v RR. Sidebottom straight back in. Btw, you cost me.

Cellar dweller battle this week HT. Nothing but pride on the line!

Just got you RR. God both our teams suck. Proud to be off the bottom though.

Great game RPFC - Very happy I came out on top thanks to some huge efforts from my new "Keeper recruits" Keiren Jack & Jack Darling.

Big thanks to Watts CookN for that awesome trade early last week. I am sure Jones & Walker will hold up for you also in the run home.

Definately a fair bit to play out in the final round.

JCB - Nobody needs to take pity on you, every week you claim you have no chance & your team gets over the line.

You are the flag favorite my friend, get used to it I reckon you will take home the bacon in 2012.

One of The Brothers Robbo24 or Snomed a huge chance to sneak into the 8.

Wacko Jako, RPFC both massively under the pump to hang in there now.

My agenda - Take out Deevoted & sneak in the 8 myself.

This has a "de ja vu feel" about it for team OMR. I charged home last year only to miss the 8 on %.

Who will crumble at the last hurdle? Who will live the fairytale & charge into the 8?

For those old enough to remember this has the final Home & Away round 1987 written all over it.

Good Luck to all next week. That's everyone except Deevoted of course!

My friend, whilst it is great sitting on top, looking at you guys fighting over getting into the 8, I truthfully have got real hassles. Corey is gone for around 3,weeks, Stanton, possibly 2, SJ maybe1,leaves my team in disarray.OMR,if you don't make it,I will be very disappointed. There will be many changes at the end of this round with still many can make the8.

Absolutely. Need to finish on a win. May have Podsy back too. Selection awaits.edit: Chris Yarran 5 kicks, 5 handballs - geez he is hot & cold. Mentally fragile, but when he clicks he's a match winner.

I had you covered until Cross went down, and out, I was more than a little bit concerned after that.

You were a bit stiff to lose 10 / 3, as it was a lot closer than that reflection. Well done for hanging in there all season.

I have also 50,000 reasons to celebrate, I got the double.

I need Simpson back asap and cant afford to lose Cross.

OMR might have to be favourite against me this week.

Had we played last weekend I would have beaten you 8-7.... and FA's are worth 2 points...

:) Are you "Deestroyem" ?

:) Are you "Deestroyem" ?

You wouldnt also be "Flying High" by any chance ? If so, I got the trifecta ^_^

Update: There would have been more chance of winning lotto, than playing the same coach in 3 different leagues on the same weekend. Not a good weekend for your namesake (Christian name) either. He got belted.

This is a funny place to take some respite considering our issues a few weeks ago but jeez...

I got Salopek for some bloody reason - play the poor fellow Optimus!

Edited by rpfc

if i hold rpfc off this weekend i'll miss out on the eight by one game just like last year, 7th and 8th are up for grabs, going to be a few close ones.

You may want to recalculate that... You're 3 games off at the moment...

if i win i'll finish on 8 wins with 8th place finishing on 9 wins. do the bottom eight still have our own play off finals this year?

lol - even if you win 15-0 you only get 1 win for the round which leaves you on 7 wins - at best you can finish 12th if eth loses.

In any case I believe there is finals for the bottom 8 (consolation finals are listed on the link above the ladder)

haha just had a better look snome, i gotta stop looking at the screen on an angle, i lined up my name with eths wins lol. OMR is looking good to make the 8.

Enter Bennell!! Bloody close - bad luck!

Home & Away done & dusted

Anyone calculated the final 8 finish?

I had a quick look...

Wasn't pretty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
