LJ -- Misson will pile on 10kg, Neeld will only accept hardness and from the fire will emerge a Gary Ablett snr-esque unstoppable force of nature.

Given Jurrah's game style I really can't see the benefit of adding 10kgs to his frame. He needs a better fitness base so he can produce repeat efforts on field, but I can only see that more size will rob him of speed, arial ability and agility.

Are you talking about disposal efficiency? Cause Grimes ain't your man. Mind you he'll benefit from not having to dispose of the ball so often in the defensive 50 while under extreme pressure from an opposition forward press. FWIW I think he'll play his nest football as a mid. Then again, if we're talking about role players, he's your Hodge or Maxwell...

Wonder if Clint Bartram has any history with the new coach given Clint was probably at Ocean Grove around the same time.

IIRC, Clint was U16 when he was there, Neeld was senior coach. So some, but likely limited, interaction. Same with Greaves at Falcons.

I dare say though, Bartram will be the kind of player Neeldy will love. Hard at it, does what he is told, plays his role every week.
